Ready to Show Your Community What Your Business Has to Offer??

Business after Hours Networking Events are held monthly at member businesses from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and are strictly social events designed to reach those members who are more comfortable in a casual atmosphere. Members and their guests can stay for the entire two-hour period or just drop by for 10 minutes. They are usually the best attended of the networking events. And…it is a perfect way for a member to showcase a new building, product, service, etc. On average, 30 to 40 people attend.

The Chamber promotes the event with an E-Blast, articles in the local newspapers and showcases it on our website & Facebook page!  The Chamber President, Director, Ambassadors and other Board Members attend.  Host businesses are encouraged to invite vendors, customers, town officials and other business partners from their business or organization.  These events are open to the public as well!

   

Requirements of the “Host” Business

  • Refreshments: Be as elaborate or casual as you would like.  Most businesses serve cheese and crackers, fruit and veggie trays, finger foods and the like.
  • Beverages: If you wish to serve beer and/or wine it is acceptable and up to you. Soft drinks or punch and coffee should also be served.
  • Door Prizes: Host businesses are responsible for the door prizes. Nothing too valuable—just something that any person would like to have.
  • Set Up: An area where Chamber materials can be placed and where registration can take place.
